Wednesday, June 6th
We awoke to yet another spectacular sunrise.  This photo was taken around 6 am off of our front porch.  Half an hour later we were off to the Marina at the tip of Cape Eleuthera to "Float the Cut" for our morning exercise.  The Cut is a canal between the atlantic and the waters of the marina, and at high tide it turns into a swiftly flowing river.  We all jumped in with our snorkels and floated to the marina, ran back, and floated down again.  All in all, we got to float down the river ~3 times each.
Here we all are, about to jump into The Cut.

Carter takes the plunge!

Merideth, Becca, and Jen prepare to leap into The Cut.

Marine life abounded.  We saw sting rays, barracuda,  plenty of colorful fish, sea urchins, and sea stars.  It was really fun to glide passively over so much nature- especially since it was only 6:30 am!

Olivia and Sam explore the cut.
